The Hollow Retreat

The Hollow Retreat sits at the end of a private drive in Evergreen, twenty-five minutes from downtown Denver and a world away from it. Built in 2016 from reclaimed timber and local stone, the house is warm, quiet and surprisingly bright thanks to a double-height living room glazed on two sides.

A wood-burning stove anchors the great room; the kitchen opens onto a wraparound deck where you will spend most evenings. Two bedrooms and a study share the ground floor, while the primary suite takes the whole upper level with a view straight down the valley.
